Kepada semua

Selamat Hari Raya
Maaf Zahir & Batin

I had a simple celebration this yr
Nonetheless a happy one
As if by magic
I managed to get everything done at the last min
To my satisfaction
My family wore silver/grey baju kurung this yr

I didnt sew curtain, juz use ready-made ones
I didnt make kueh as well
I juz buy watever I fancy
That was the only regret
The FOOD
I didnt get daun ketupat oso
This year my house got no ketupat
Luckily, hubby's couz cooked extra
And gave us some...
But still, I would rather anyam n rebus the ketupat myself
Doing it urself, then eating it
It juz feels different
Buying everything
Makes it different
Its like as if something is missing
Things are so easy like that...everything can be bought

I feel sad serving ppl bought kuehs
I dunno why
Its juz not me I guess
Whatever food that u can find in my house
Would be done by me
From the ketupat, rendang to ayam masak merah
Kueh tart, kacang goreng, choc chip to biskut suji
From marble cake, walnut cake to brownies
But I lost the magical touch this yr
I try to make it up by cooking everytime I have visitors
Sigh..

But not to werry
I shall be back with a vengeance next yr heh heh heh
