It has become a routine to meet up every tuesday@Gelare. The only time, we mothers can have the opportunity to catch up with each other. Talk, joke, laugh...cry if needed hehe. And at the same time, spending few hours away from the stressful life of a SAHM...with 3 kids under 5.
And today was no exception. Its juz that we were too full after dinner..that we decided to forgo the dessert part. I brought Saira along...as I'm not ready to be separated from her yet...or in any case letting anyone else taking care of her.

Back at home, its juz me and my boys and saira. Minimal sleep and eyebags have become part of my life now. A SAHM I will be, for the next few months. Finances will be tight definitely...I guess we juz have to learn to prioritize. Staying at home is not so bad after all. After all the chores are done, I would juz sit down and stare at my almost 3-weeks old baby. Sometimes she smiles, sometimes she frowns, sometimes she chuckles..hehe. Pure bliss. The feeling is totally indescribable. Nuthing beats it. Not even shopping or getting a branded bag. Really.
Looking back...I thanked God for all the decisions I have made. For I almost lost what I'm enjoying rite now. A bundle of joy. She is truely is.

I was at my couz's place on both days last weekend
Dah lama tak berewang for somebody's wedding
I'm still dalam hari
But what the heck..
This is sumthing I really can't miss heh
Saira, once again, has been a good girl
She slept thru the nikah procedure
So I manage to sneak around
And snap pictures of the beautiful bride
Time has changed..
Even wedding deco, dias and baju pengantin
Evolved with time
Getting more modern
As of course, more beautiful than ever
Making us, the pengantin basi
Turning green with envy hehe

The 3 of us has always been close
Ever since we were kids
They are not only my cousins
But my good frens as well
They are like sisters to me
Sisters I've never had
And this weekend..
The youngest of us three
Is getting married
She is the talkative one
Most rugged n gung-ho among us
Is finally tying a knot

And today is her 'berinai' day
Doing the henna all alone
Is boring
But nowadays its difficult to get
All close friends and cousins to gather around
Sebok2, giggling like small kids
Juz to meriah kan suasana
Accompanying the bride

Juz 3 of us were there to do the job
It was fun nonetheless
I had my hand done as well
Hehehe
The last time I had them henna-ed was at my own wedding
Tapi kan...tak shiok la..kalau sedara kahwin..then tak pakai inai..
Betul kan?

Saira is a week old now
She spent most of her time sleeping
Waking up every few hours for feeding
And once in the middle of the nite
Other than that..she has got no other complaints
Well-behaved... I should say
As compared to the 2 brothers
They get cranky and hungry all the time
Mebbe boys and girls are different
Or mebbe I shouldn't say too soon
Hehe..

As for me...I feel normal now
Soreness and pain are subsiding
Have been up and about
Can't wait to go out
As I'm getting bored being stuck at home
Juz a simple trip to the polyclinic for jaundice screening
Does do wunders..
Luckily my mum dun observe the 'pantangs' stringently

I was having my weekly check-up on the 9th of november
Baby already reach full term
Amniotic fluid getting low
Hence my gynae decided to induce labour

I was admitted to the ward first
Totally different from the previous two
Whereby some actions happen at home first
And then we quickly rush to the hospital

She finally arrived on the 10th November 2005, 0014 hr, weighing 2.7kg.
Will post the full labour story later..
